University Inspiration Days
A University Inspiration Day is a fantastic opportunity for students aged 13-16 to experience what going to university is really like. It is a great way for them to learn about whether university is right for them, and to discover aspects of university that they didn’t know existed.
This year, University Inspiration Days are being run with Cardiff Metropolitan University so they will be held on their campus.
We will be running HE (Higher Education) Roadshow University Inspiration Days for year 11s on the 20th and the 21st of December 2023.
We will then be running HE Roadshow University Inspiration Days for years 9 and 10 the 1st - 5th of July 2024.
During the HE Roadshow University Inspiration Day students will be welcomed onto campus, attend 1 mini lecture on a topic that they are interested in and then another mini lecture on something new to them to show them what other degree options exist. Students can eat on campus or bring packed lunches, and then games and a mini graduation will take place at the end of the day (events subject to change).
